Xand Marketing is a boutique, bi-coastal marketing firm with offices in Manhattan and the Bay Area. Our principals have extensive experience in marketing program management, lead generation, trade shows, advertising, communications, and public relations.

Lara J. Kisielewska
President

Lara founded Xand Marketing in 2003 and oversees Xand's business operations, creative provider alliances, and partner relationships. Her ”make-it happen“ expertise quickly won projects with major technology firms, resulting in dozens of successful lead generation and field marketing projects over a very short period.

Lara brings experience from the graphic design world, as owner of Optimum Design & Consulting, and technology publishing, as co-founder of Linux Magazine and Associate Publisher of VoIP Magazine. An active networker, Lara has twice served as President of the New York Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild and once as President of the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She holds a BS in Graphic Communications, Technology, and Management from New York University.

John Tortorice
Vice President, Marketing Strategy

John creates marketing programs for Xand clients and has produced more than 50 events. He excels at “finding something no one else sees and exploiting the hell out of it,” according to a former client. John has been doing marketing for 10+ years for technology giants – HP Solution Elite, Oracle Alliances & Channels, Siemens Business Communications, and dozens of smaller enterprise software vendors in supply chain management, real-time database, development tools, enterprise networks, etc. John began his career in IT, and earned an MS-Computer Science in database and artificial intelligence from the Illinois Institute of Technology before conducting research for Digital and Lockheed Labs, publishing on object-oriented design and user interaction.

Karron Esmonde
Account Manager

Karron has managed dozens of events in her more than 20 years in marketing and communications for major technology companies, including AMD, Siemens Business Communications, and Fairchild Semiconductor, among others. Recently, she combined planning a major corporate event at the Cognos User Symposium in Las Vegas with training our client’s new hire — the kind of cross-functional skills she’s noted for.
